Applied
Thermal Coatings, Inc. (ATC) is a materials-focused
company which began operation in October of 1989. The
company’s founders have held key technical positions
in the former Combustion Engineering’s Metallurgical
and Materials Laboratory in Chattanooga, TN. When that
facility was shut down, ATC acquired the equipment and
expertise necessary to carry forward much of the pioneering
work in corrosion technology which had begun at Combustion.
Located in Chattanooga, ATC’s products have been
installed in boilers throughout the U.S. and Canada.
