Chromizing
is the diffusion-controlled enrichment of component surfaces
with chromium to impart superior levels of corrosion and/or
erosion resistance. ATC pioneered the development of the chromium-enhanced
studs for use in both the Pulp and Paper and Utility industries.
ATC also has chromized larger pressure parts, such as waterwall
tubing panels for installation in Recovery and Utility type
boilers.
